The Children’s Commissioner for England has published a blog commenting on the recent analysis by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) on the poverty impact of the coronavirus crisis since the pandemic began, which estimates that the number of children newly pushed into poverty is likely to be 300,000 at the end of 2020.
