The NSPCC has published a report about children returning home from care.
The NSPCC has published a report about children returning home from care. Findings include: the most common outcome for children leaving care is to return home to a parent or relative, and around half of children who come into care because of abuse or neglect suffer further abuse if they return home. Recommendations include: publish data about the outcomes for children who return home from care, and improve the support available to children and families before and following a return home. |
