The National Education Trust has published a survey of early intervention programmes

 

The National Education Trust has published a survey of early intervention programmes used in 36 children’s centres in London. Findings include: only 13% of programmes were evidence based; and the main barrier to delivering evidence based intervention was the cost of staff training and families’ need for flexibility.
