Ofsted has published a report looking at the impact of virtual schools on the educational progress oflooked after children. Findings include: most young people were positive about the help they had received from the virtual school, particularly additional tuition; there was generally evidence of improving outcomes for looked after children, although there was little evidence that the gap in attainment between looked after chilren and other children was narrowing.
